ABOUT FLANDERS

Brugge [Bruges] is a 1½ hour drive from the Eurotunnel terminal, almost all motorway. Renowned as the ‘Venice’ of the north, because of its canal network, the charming and historic city is a lively tourist hub and offers lots to see and do. Our hotels are central, allowing for easy walking to your bars and restaurants; think about a golf-free day, to enjoy all the history, architecture …and beer… on offer.

You can choose golf courses en route, and whilst there, coastal or parkland options are on offer. The only downside to a city like Brugge is the parking, which is available, but non-reservable, and a bit pricey.

At this welcoming club you will be made to feel like a member. Smart clubhouse with superior facilities, and the course is very well maintained. The18 holes are easy to walk, punctuated by natural [wet] obstacles and the wind off the surrounding countryside will add to the difficulty, as will the excellent greens.

Royal Zoute Golf Club

Created in a slightly wild landscape of pine, hawthorn hedges, silver birch and poplar trees, the Zoute fairways navigate between waves of dunes: a setting that cannot leave anyone unmoved. Another Colt classic. Greens noted for their quality and a comfortable clubhouse are just two of the attractive features of this golf club.

Royal Ostende Golf Club
